Job Description
Full-time role involving the design, installation, setup, programming, and maintenance of automated systems to enhance the functionality and connectivity of residential and commercial spaces.

Develop and implement programming codes to customize and integrate various smart devices into a cohesive home automation system.

Configure automation scenarios and user interfaces based on client preferences.

Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to ensure seamless operation of the home automation system.

Conduct thorough testing of installed systems to verify functionality and identify any potential issues.

Perform quality assurance checks to ensure that all components meet company standards and client expectations.

Communicate with clients to understand their specific automation needs and preferences.

Provide demonstrations and training to clients on how to use and control their home automation systems.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of installations, configurations, and programming codes.

Create user manuals and instructional materials for clients.
Installation of Automation Systems

Install and configure smart home devices, including lighting controls, thermostats, security cameras, smart locks, and other home automation components.

Ensure proper placement and wiring of devices to optimize their functionality and aesthetics
Collaboration

Collaborate with sales, design, and technical support teams to ensure a coordinated approach to client projects.

Provide input on system design based on installation and programming considerations.
Preferences
Responsibilities

Proven experience in the installation and programming of automation systems.

Knowledge of various smart home technologies and protocols (e.g., Z-Wave, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).

Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in automation.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation.

Knowledge of top-tier vendors and their products

A degree or experience in a relevant field such as electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred. Certifications in home automation technologies may also be advantageous.
